Coating an ultra-thin conductive carbon layer onto the surface of conventional composite current collectors reduces the interfacial resistance between the active material and the current collector while enhancing the bonding strength between them. This ultimately enables the composite current collector to achieve higher-rate charging and discharging capabilities.
